No. 2 Notre Dame de Paris
SUMPTUEUESE! A true masterpiece of Gothic architecture. It is located in the heart of the city island, in the historic heart of the city. It dates from the Middle Ages, its construction lasting 2 centuries between the 13th and the 15th century. The cathedral to celebrate its 850th anniversary in 2013! Unfortunately, a major fire occurred in April 2019, largely damaging the cathedral which remains closed to this day. Five years of work are planned to restore the monument.
It is however possible to go to the square in front of the cathedral to take a photo with the face of the building which resisted this terrible fire.

MYTHICAL! It is one of the largest museums in the world. It is located in the heart of the city, next to the Seine and the famous Rue de Rivoli. The Louvre is a former royal palace which was transformed at the time of the French Revolution into a museum.
The museum is divided into eight departments: graphic arts, paintings, objects of art, sculptures, Islamic art, oriental antiquities, Egyptian antiquities and Greek antiquities.
The Mona Lisa, by Leonardo da Vinci is the main attraction of the museum, it is sometimes difficult to see it on the days of high attendance.
Access to the museum is via the glass pyramid, which is located in the courtyard of the palace.

N°4 The Arc de Triomphe
MAJESTIC! Located at the top of the most beautiful avenue in the world, the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe is one of the most imposing monuments in Paris.
It was built in the time of Napoleon in the aftermath of the Battle of Austerlitz where the latter declared to the soldiers that they would only return home under triumphal arches. It took 30 years to build this monument, from 1806 to 1836. In the center of the triumphal arch, there is the tomb of an unknown soldier, as well as the eternal flame which is rekindled every evening at 6:30 p.m. to pay tribute to the soldiers who died in combat. The price of a full price ticket is €12. The view from the terrace of the Arc de Triomphe is one of the most beautiful in Paris. You are at the perfect height to appreciate the surrounding monuments and the bird's eye view of the Champs-Élysées.

N°5 The Sacred Heart
HISTORY! Located at the top of the Montmartre hill, it is the highest viewpoint in Paris. This location offers a panoramic view of the city, it is clearly one of the most beautiful views of the capital. The Sacré-Cœur basilica is a religious building whose construction was completed in 1923. It is the second most visited religious monument in Paris after Notre-Dame Cathedral.
